HOW TO BUY

HOW TO BUY

It seems to be a daunting challenge to buy any product online. We have to deal with uncertainties, worries, fears, and potential financial losses. It is no less challenging if we are buying from another country, especially with a different language. How about if the product needed is a sophisticated piece of machinery that requires careful transportation handling and costs several thousands of dollars? Yet, the purchase needs to be made.

We at Mapartex are very familiar with these challenges. We have purchased and sold many different kinds of expensive equipment and parts in the United States and overseas for more than 30 years. We have learned from our providers' mistakes and process details they have overlooked. We also take our customers' feedback seriously. With all of this experience and an excellent team of very knowledgeable professionals, we developed a very efficient, transparent, and mutually beneficial set of rules and processes to be able to offer our customers and distributors a smooth purchasing experience as the foundation of a long-lasting business friendship.

We grow when our customers grow!

Before Buying, Do Your Homework.

Mapartex offers the following recommendations to help you make your purchase easier with the lowest possible risk. However, feel free to use our guidelines to search for any other provider from whom you would like to make your purchase. We feel confident that you will see why we stand out from potential competition. We are leaders in this business because we are different from our competitors, and we set and abide by our own guidelines. While we are not perfect, we are always listening and improving.

  • 1.- Consider your Need ... to Save

Do you have a clear idea of the equipment or part you need? Or perhaps you are open to optional solutions.

    • Having the Equipment Brand and Model chosen facilitates your purchase as long it is available in the market. Likewise, having the part number of any part you need will expedite the purchasing process.
    • An alternative way of searching for what you need is by determining the equipment or part application, key specifications, frequency of use, life-time expectancy, required maintenance, and your budget. This way a specialized provider can offer you more options to satisfy your need.
    • If still you have doubts on what equipment or part to buy, your provider should have the capacity to help you. We at Mapartex have helped many customers determine the best solution to their need. In many cases, the best option has been for our customer not to buy anything at all because we told them how to repair the equipment with the locally available resources, which prevented the import of parts or equipment.

  • 2.- Find a Provider ... to Keep

Finding the right provider can be frustrating and disappointing. This experience is even worse if you are an eventual buyer looking for "cheap" equipment or parts. Several of our customers have told us about their experiences with previous providers and the dramatic and costly consequences.

    • First of all, determine whether you will be an eventual one-time buyer or you want to establish a long-lasting business relationship with a provider that helps you not only with your current need but a permanent professional and technical support for future requirements. This optic is used for growing companies that prefer to delegate the procurement of equipment and parts to focus on actually running their business.
    • When buying equipment or parts that risk the safety of the users or operators, it is obvious you will need a knowledgeable provider with vast experience in the kind of equipment or parts required. Only a provider with technical and engineering knowledge about the product being sought can give you all the necessary information about alternatives solutions, installations, start-ups, safety risks, repairs, maintenance, and even help you save money by keeping you within your budget while still making a good investment. It is up to you to ask the right questions to determine how much your potential provider knows about your need and how to help you without pushing only what they have available just to make a sale.
    • Beware of auctions. Equipment offered in auctions are sold AS-IS. So, you could be bidding based only on a picture that does not mention any of the potential hidden costly problems. Sellers usually offer their equipment at auctions as a last opportunity to get rid of them since there is not interest in the local market for the equipment. Usually due to their poor conditions or simply because of regulations, they are not allowed to be used despite their good appearance. Otherwise, sellers would sell these equipment in the open market at a fair price. Trying to buy "cheap" equipment at auctions without exhaustive inspections is simply a dangerous gamble. Mapartex is affiliated with many auction companies in the US and other countries. However, we have qualified technicians to inspect and asses every equipment before purchase. In addition, we have access to all the history and information about the equipment as well as resources to repair or upgrade the equipment, if necessary, before offering it to our customers. We reject any equipment from any auction or any other provider that does not pass our inspections or that has been red flagged.
    • Last but not least is determining the integrity of the provider. What values does the provider have? What are the odds they could be a fraud? Does the provider want to help you solve your problem, or do they just want to push a sale? Buying remotely requires good screening of the potential providers.

Mapartex does not sell "cheap" equipment or parts. That would make us a "cheap" company. We do all we can to offer equipment and parts at the best possible price while being transparent and honest in disclosing any important information the customer needs to know about the purchase. Also, our priority is safety. We do strict inspections and research about the history of the equipment being offered to customers to determine whether there is any "red flag" or restriction set by the equipment manufacturer or government regulations that would prohibit use of the equipment. Many equipment restricted from use in the United States are repainted and exported to other countries by other sellers to get rid of them "cheap" while making a profit and sacrificing the safety of the users. A Provider with integrity will help you save money without sacrificing your safety or the safety of those who work for you.

  • 3.- Choose the Purchase Terms ... and GROW

Working on the previous two recommendations will make you feel confident the terms offered by your provider will be in the best interest of both parties.

By being honest and transparent about your need and budget with your provider, you increase the chances of getting the best support and most convenient solution to your need. Often, customers prefer just to choose from what they see online without asking for details and alternative options that could help them save money. Unfortunately, most buyers are victims of the wrong belief that after searching for the same product on many websites, buying the lowest priced one will be the best deal. You have to consider that every single seller is checking other seller's websites and pricing their own products to attract viewers.

Mapartex has several options to buy depending on the customer's budget, urgency, technical specifications, location, and order quantity. We always tell our customers to do their research about the best or convenient provider before committing to deal with us. We understand that new and inexperienced online shoppers keep shopping around trying to get the lowest price. That costs them time and the possibility to actually get a good deal. We usually have many customers on our waiting list for different equipment and parts we do not yet have in stock. They committed with us and we with them. So, they are our priority. Our high level of sales, in the US and internationally, allows us to offer them the best deals and support. They get and pay for only what they need. They stay with us because we help them GROW.

Choose the Right Buying Scenario for You.

Mapartex is focused on helping our customers find what they need, when they need it, under the right buying conditions, at the right price. We are committed to gaining your trust, to establishing a long-term relationship with you, and to providing ongoing support for equipment purchased from us. We are confident that we can help you to purchase the equipment that meets your needs and keeps your business running with minimal interruption. We encourage you to consider the buying scenario that is best for you, that meets your needs in terms of budget, equipment specifications, and timing. Whatever your need, we focus on removing the stress of buying and adding value to your business.
